skinny-randyroot is a root pixmap randomizer. It sets the root pixmap (i.e., desktop background) to an image randomly selected from a specified directory of images.

To use skinny-randyroot, pass it a directory that has JPEG (.jpg, .JPG, .jpeg or .JPEG) images in it. For example:

skinny-randyroot /home/eely/Photos/Paris

Note that skinny-randyroot will not work if you are using ROX-filer, PCManFM, or a similar program to manage your desktop. These programs effectively paint a new desktop on top of the root X pixmap.
